What is Virtual-Caddy?

What is the thinking behind the Virtual Caddy concept?

Virtual Caddy has been designed by golfers, for golfers. Think about it: Very few tour professionals would ever consider playing in a tournament without first walking the course.

Visualising the best way to play each hole, considering all aspects of course management and strategy.

However, for most club golfers this type of preparation is not a practical option. Virtual Caddy changes that by providing golfers of all levels with a multi-media, hole by hole guide to golf courses using narrated tips and strategies that have been prepared by the person that knows the course best - the Club Professional.

How does it work?

Virtual Caddy is an audio visual guide to golf courses delivered on CD or downloaded onto your home or office PC via the web. Using an interactive menu, users will be able to see multiple photographs of each holes with views from tee to green. Once a hole is selected, an audio tour is brought to life with animated graphics used to highlight the line, the hazards and other key points of interest. Additional options such as 'Local Knowledge' provide tips and information that would only be known by regular user of the course.
