Golf Clubs to become Partners

The new owners of Virtual Caddy are keen to re-position the offer, that was originally designed to benefit golfers primarily, with 'some' marketing benefit for clubs. The current plans aim to put the power into the hands of the featured golf clubs, so that the can use Virtual Caddy guides in ways that suit their own commercial and promotional needs.
Initial meetings with pilot clubs would suggest that Virtual Caddy can be used in advertising and promoting the club through their own website, or to be re-packahe inways that can drive added value...or indeed- aded revenue.
Nigel Withey of GCMS Ld said - ' I was pleasantly surprised that our estimates of the 'value' that Virtual Caddy could deliver to a club were wildly pesimistic. Against this background, we are looking at creating a brand new proposition for clubs and will be in touch during 2009/10.
