Bowood
Voted among the top ten new golf courses in Britain and top fifty golf destinations in Europe by Golf World Magazine, Bowood boasts one of the finest 18 hole golf courses in the South of England.
In accordance with his brief, Dave Thomas designed a golf course which can be enjoyed by all levels of golfer, from the occasional player to the experienced professional.
This golf course extends over 200 acres of parkland giving a genuine feeling of "getting away" from the stresses and strains of modern life. Indeed, only three buildings can be seen from the golf course - the Clubhouse, Queenwood Golf Lodge and Derry Hill Church spire. Bowood competes for length as well as difficulty with the toughest championship courses. Numerous tree and water barriers, together with cunningly placed bunkers, ensure that you have more to think about than just cutting the corners on the doglegs.
Should certainly be highly considered for corporate golf events, society golf days and special occassions such as Weddings.

A great challenging course although very pricey for a standard club golfer
